Report

I Started off with my report being on the over booking at McDonalds but i couldn't really find any facts on this and it didn't overly affect me because i'm not even staying there long so i changed what i was doing.

I did it on what was the cheapest way to move. this is something me and my family do alot so i thought it would be a good one to do.

Horror

I enjoy horror movie there not my favourite but they are up there. I've watched to much horror to be scared of it. I've become totally desensitized to the scariness of the horror genre. i watch it for more of the thrill and the video effects them.

My favourite is the creature monster movies because they have more effects put into them and all the work that goes into them is amazing.

The Shining was a very interesting movie i beleive that there were unnessaceary scenes though. in my opinion the man and the "dog" could have been left out and with out her acting really "womenly" it would of really added to the movie.

A book turned into a series

I started off with just reading the lighting thief the first book in a series by Rick Riordan. The ending make me just wanna kept reading, Thank goodness my friend has most of the novels. For the past couple weeks I've been reading almost none stop. This is scary for me I've spent my whole life skimming novels and never actually reading them because they've never caught my attention.

Action/ Adventure Genre

I definitely have a love for the Action/Adventure it always has a way of getting me caught up in the story line. I'm not drawn to any specific movie in the genre because i like so many of them. Lately I saw Percy Jackson and the Olympians - The Lightening thief, This was a great movie that shows the Action/ Adventure genre perfectly.

The Superhero sub-genre I don't really enjoy as much, I don't really know why but there not as appealing to me as just Action/ Adventure movies or books. They don't have a moral behind them I guess that could be, maybe I subconsciously wish to learn something from a movie or want to have a feeling that the hero has learned something about themselves or changed.
I believe humans created them to solve problems that normal people couldn't solve, and they give us a false sense of security. We have this feeling cause we imagine them being real or taking after law enforcement. When we have this thought we feel as if they can do anything and would do anything to save people. Everyone wants to feel safe and that someone would always be there to protect us when were in danger.

I don't know where the sub-genre will go from here, but I'm sure just cause the Dark Knight was so "Amazing" doesn't mean they can't stop there. There is so much more they could do with these movies and I feel like they'll continue to push what they can do. I feel one day they push it too far and will lose all comic feel to it, an after that it's lost all it is and become just another movie with no special kick to it.

fantasy/sci fi

I love fantasy/sci fi genre books or movies. they're a glimpse into the future that the writer sees or believes is coming. it gives us insight into what we want to work towards or what the problems could be in the future and gives us a solution in-case we some how fall into the situation.

I know its unlikely that anyone's going to get stuck in a worm hole and keep going back and forth in time of years but it gives us a bright look at the future. a future full of space travel and epic adventures and alien attacks. I know that we usually have a look at the evil in space but we get to see the good out there to.

This brings together a great books or movies with fun adventures and encounters.
